Dr Nikhil Oberai had spent years watching patients arrive carrying the weight of bad experiences elsewhere. Patients who had been told that implants were not suitable for them. Patients whose treatment had been rushed, poorly executed, or oversold. Patients who had simply stopped believing that a healthy, confident smile was achievable.
He knew it did not have to be that way. So he built something different. A clinician-led group with the depth of expertise you would expect from a specialist referral centre, combined with the warmth and continuity of a practice that genuinely knows its patients.
When Dr Natasja Kashyap joined, she brought exactly the same philosophy: meticulous, patient-centred care with a genuine investment in outcomes rather than transactions.

Dr Nikhil Oberai
Dr Nik, as his patients know him, is one of the North West’s most experienced implant dentists. He holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester, one of the most rigorous and respected postgraduate qualifications in the field, and has maintained a 99.5% implant success rate across cases treated at Heritage Smile Group.
But the number that matters most to him is not on his CV. It is the moment a patient sees their new smile for the first time.
Dr Nik specialises in full arch dental implants, All-on-4 implant treatment, and Smile-in-a-Day procedures. He is the clinician to whom other dental practices across the region refer their most complex implant cases, because they know the standard he holds himself to and the outcomes he consistently delivers.

Dr Natasja Kashyap
Dr Natasja has an eye for detail that her patients notice immediately, and an approach to cosmetic and restorative dentistry that consistently delivers results which look natural rather than manufactured.
Holding an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from the University of Manchester, she leads cosmetic treatment across the group, with a particular focus on Invisalign, composite bonding, porcelain veneers, and full smile makeovers. Her consultations are thorough and unhurried. She listens carefully, explains clearly, and designs treatment around what her patients actually want rather than a one-size-fits-all result.

Who owns Heritage Smile Group?
Heritage Smile Group is owned and led by Dr Nikhil Oberai and Dr Natasja Kashyap. Both clinicians are actively involved in patient care at both practices. Dr Oberai holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester and leads all implant treatment. Dr Kashyap holds an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and leads all cosmetic treatments. Heritage Smile Group is not a dental chain. It is a clinician-owned group where the founders are the practitioners.
How many practices does Heritage Smile Group have?
Heritage Smile Group operates two practices in Cheshire. Croft Dental and Implant Practice is in Wilmslow (SK9) and serves patients from east Cheshire and south Manchester including Alderley Edge, Macclesfield, Knutsford, Altrincham, and Hale. Brunner Court Dental and Implant Practice is in Northwich (CW9) and serves patients from central and south Cheshire including Winsford, Middlewich, Nantwich, and Congleton. Both practices offer the same full range of treatments.
What qualifications do the Heritage Smile Group founders hold?
Dr Nikhil Oberai holds a BDS from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester, completed in 2014. He is an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at Manchester and a Key Opinion Leader for Osstem UK. Dr Natasja Kashyap holds a BDS and an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from the University of Manchester, alongside the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Both clinicians are registered with the General Dental Council.
Is Heritage Smile Group accepting new patients?
Yes. Heritage Smile Group is currently accepting new patients at both its Wilmslow and Northwich practices. Adults and children are welcome. Free consultations are available for dental implant and Invisalign enquiries. For general and cosmetic dentistry, a new patient examination costs £85 including x-rays.
