Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments can be booked by telephone, via the online booking form, or by submitting an enquiry through this website.
We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. The practice team will advise of the applicable fee at the time of booking or upon request.
Repeated missed appointments may result in your registration being removed from the practice.
Treatment and Clinical Advice
All clinical treatment at Heritage Smile Group is carried out by GDC-registered dental professionals. Treatment is provided following a clinical examination and, where necessary, diagnostic imaging such as dental x-rays or a CBCT scan.
Before any treatment begins, you will be provided with a written treatment plan that includes a full breakdown of costs. Verbal consent is obtained before each clinical procedure. For certain procedures, written consent may also be requested.
We endeavour to achieve the outcome planned and agreed with you at your consultation. Clinical outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations with you as part of the consent process.
Fees and Payment
All fees are confirmed in writing before treatment begins. Payment is due at the time of each appointment unless a finance arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Finance is available through Tabeo Finance Ltd on eligible treatment plans. Heritage Smile Group acts as a credit broker, not a lender. Finance is subject to status. Terms and conditions are set by Tabeo Finance Ltd, not Heritage Smile Group.
We reserve the right to update our fee schedule. Current fees are published on our dental fees page and are reviewed periodically.
Practice Plan
The Heritage Smile Group Practice Plan is a preventive dental care plan administered in association with Practice Plan Ltd. The plan involves a monthly direct debit payment in exchange for an agreed schedule of preventive care and associated discounts. Full terms applicable to the practice plan, including cancellation terms, are provided at the time of joining.
Complaints
We take patient experience seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or experience at Heritage Smile Group, we ask that you contact the practice directly in the first instance so we have the opportunity to resolve your concern. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to the Dental Complaints Service at dentalcomplaints.org.uk or to the Care Quality Commission at cqc.org.uk.
